Well, that’s a big question. The general answer is this, you bring in the merchandise you want to trade and or sell and load it into our bins. We’ll look through up to four bins per party per day. We will assign a price to each piece of merchandise that we can sell, and give you a percent of that in trade credit. Some items we do offer cash for, but not all. When you drop off, we will give you an estimate as to how long it might take, as all merchandise is processed on a first come first serve basis. You can choose to take back any items that we can’t sell, or we can recycle them for you, you just need to pick up within three hours of your drop off.
Now let’s go through the specifics.
Due to the nature of supply and demand, we find that many items we get in abundance. We can offer trade credit only for those items.
We must photocopy your valid state issued id containing a full name, address, and photograph in order to issue any cash or check amount. You must be 18 or older to receive cash or a check. Any amount over $30 will be issued in the form of a check. No exceptions will be made. Payment can be issued as soon as items have been evaluated by our staff.
Bring in your merchandise until 1 hour prior to closing 7 days a week. Transfer your items into our buying bins in the store and we will process them as quickly as possible.
We would love to be able to accept an unlimited amount of items from all of our customers, but due to the large quantity of merchandise that we sort through in a day, we are able to accommodate varying amounts of merchandise depending on the season. At most, we can process 4 bins* per party per day.
Orders over 4 bins per party may be submitted as “Large Orders”. “Large Orders” may be submitted if space allows, and can take anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks to process. Please see our check-in clerk or call for information regarding the “Large Order” process, as it differs from our normal procedures. “Large orders” are available on a first come, first serve basis, we do not accept reservations for “large orders”.
*A bin is defined as one of our processing bins and is measured at 18”x13”x12”
Yes, There are certain items that, for one reason or another, we just can’t sell. Those items include, but are not limited to:
Generally, we will pay 45% of our selling price in trade credit. The cash percentage, if it’s an item we pay cash for, varies depending on the item type up to 25%.
The time it will take to evaluate your order will vary. It is a first come, first serve basis. Generally it will take less than an hour to evaluate your order. During peak season and rushes, this wait can be longer.
We try our hardest to process your merchandise while you shop, but we understand that you can’t always wait. When you drop of an order to be processed, you have three hours from the time you dropped it off to pick up anything that we can’t take. After three hours those items are automatically recycled or put into the free bin for other customers to enjoy free of charge. While we do our best to retain all data from your order, we are unable to guarantee payment for orders claimed after three days of drop off.
We will gladly provide you with a hand truck to bring your boxes in from the parking lot. Unfortunately, we do not have staff available to bring in merchandise from outside the store, so please plan accordingly.
All disks, records, and cassettes must be in original cases. Video game cartridges may be taken without their original cases and boxes.
